Machine traction, steering, suction and sweeping units powered exclusively by electricity, not hydraulically.

Operating autonomy 8/10 hours

Collection system: exclusively through suction fan powered by N.1 electric motor.

Chassis: specific with four wheels, built in high-resistance material Domex 700 steel, two axles, front steering axle, rear traction axle fitted with electric traction motors;
Suspensions: Independent front suspensions with traverse leaf spring, interconnected rear suspensions with polyurethane shock absorbers.

Transmission: traction should be exclusively done by 2 asynchronous alternate current electric motors on the rear axle of 2,8 Kw each, total power 5,6 kW, with energy recovery system during deceleration and braking.

Steering: front axle steering. Fully electric “Steer by wire” steering system, with steering handled by dedicated electronic control.

Brakes:

– drum brakes on all four wheels, dual hydraulic braking circuit with direct pedal control on the brake pump.

– electro-mechanical parking brake operating on the electric motors of the rear wheels with pushbutton control.

– single circuit emergency brake.

Electronic Hill Start Assist Control system that automatically keeps the brake on the machine when it stops on a slope during travel, for maximum ease and safety during hill starts.

Sweeping system: consisting of two counter-rotating brushes with vertical shaft positioned in front of the front axle to brush the waste towards the suction mouth between them.

Both brushes are powered by 2 electric motors, not by hydraulic motors.

The material is suctioned inside the DIN waste hopper and is kept in a vacuum by the centrifugal suction fan, which must never come into contact with the waste, thanks to a polyester pocket filter that not only serves to trap fine dust but also to protect the fan from contact with the material.

The rotation speed of the brushes and fan must be adjustable by using controls in the cab.

Side brushes with minimum diameter of mm 650 each powered by electric motor.

Suction mouth: in material resistant to corrosion and abrasion, in AISI 304 stainless steel, with castor wheels and automatic opening system for the collection of bulky waste; width not below mm 460. Automatic lifting system for the nozzle by operating transfer mode and reverse gear.

Suction hose: made in stainless steel and natural rubber, max. diameter mm 140.

Waste hopper: made in PEHD material, removable, DIN standard, minimum capacity 360 L.

Optional tipping system with high dump at minimum tipping height mm 1,400.

 Filtration: the sweeper is equipped with metal mesh filter and a polyester pocket filter providing at least 99% filtration and able to trap particles up to PM 2,5; in addition, it must be equipped with cab-controlled electric filter shaker.

Dust suppression system: water-based, consisting of a 100-litre clean water tank in corrosion-resistant material, electric water pump and misting nozzles located near the brushes.

Driver’s cab: in fibreglass, monocoque, tiltable, must have 1 adjustable anatomical seat complete with seatbelt, removable side doors and heating system.

The cab must have a panoramic windscreen with wipers and electric screen wash system.

Batteries: Nr. 2 separate and electrically connected batteries, quick and easy battery replacement, with total capacity of at least 620 Ah 48 Volt Lead-acid batteries (standard maintenance) 48V 688 Ah Lead-acid batteries (reduced maintenance) AGM batteries 48V 560 Ah.

Battery charger: External high frequency electronic battery charger must be supplied. Not on board.

LCD Monitor + rear view camera: the sweeper should be equipped with a LCD monitor installed in the cab and a colour camera for rear view.

Speed during brushing: from 0 to 10 Km/h;

Transfer speed: from 0 to 17 Km/h;

Minimum brushing width: mm 1,500
